What happens when I get my braces on?

This is the start of something very exciting. We begin the whole process, which takes on average an hour and half, by ensuring the office surroundings are calming. To get your teeth ready we polish them in preparation for braces. We use a special solution to gently roughen the surface of the teeth and ensure the glue sticks tightly. After placing the braces in specific positions on the teeth, we insert the wire and then a final reveal. We take a few snaps of you and ensure you are given the instructions of what you need to take care of your braces. We provide lots of information on how to brush, what not to eat, and what to expect throughout your treatment. We understand it is a new experience, so don’t be surprised, but the office will give you a call to see how things are going.
