A native of Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Dr. Vishal Sharma is the visionary behind Aura Orthodontics. Growing up, Dr. Sharma was always scholastically adept – he balanced academic pursuits with a love for basketball and community involvement. After attaining his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of British Columbia, he pursued dentistry and an orthodontics specialty at New York University in New York City, where he graduated with Honours and Cum Laude of Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
Dr. Everett Lin
Dr. Everett Lin was born and raised in Vancouver and graduated at the top of his class from St. George’s. Interested in how things work and always tinkering from a young age, Dr. Lin went on to the Ivy League to study science at Columbia University in New York City. While there, he contributed to pioneering research projects in astrophysics, searching high and low for dark matter, which, contrary to reports, he didn’t find in his dorm room. He graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in applied physics. Having satisfied his scientific curiosities, Dr. Lin was ready to pursue his ultimate goal of becoming a healthcare provider.
Dr. Julia Koo
Dr. Julia Koo hails from small-town New Jersey, where she spent the majority of her adolescence and young adulthood after her family emigrated from Seoul, Korea in her early teens. From a young age, she took great interest in the wonders of the human body and enjoyed working on science projects in school. To fulfill her intellectual curiosity in the sciences, she attended Dartmouth College, a prestigious Ivy League institution in New Hampshire, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology.
